Two Super Bowl losings and years of heartache weren't enough for Jeffrey Clayton Riegel. The Atlantic City native, World Health Organization died along Aug. 18 after playing a long overdue game of golf, asked the Philadelphia Eagles to let him cut down single more clip.

Riegel requested in his obit that eight Philadelphia Eagles serve up as his pallbearers so the team "derriere let him down one more clip."

On a non sol graceful golfing day, August 18, 2022, Jeffrey Clayton Riegel left this Earth to finish a long overdue game of golf. He was a wonderful husband, uncle, brother and son. He leaves behind his disconsolate wife, Donna Lee (McGinnis); his mother, Barbara Sloan; his father, Clayton Riegel (Louise); sisters, Debbie Widman(Raymond), Donna Gaffney(Andrew), Kim DaPrato, Debra McGinnis, and Dee Kaufman(Dan); sidekic, Andrew Riegel; and countless nieces, nephews, union brothers, and lifelong friends. He was beloved by all.

God gave Jeffrey the miracle of time to train which allowed him to verbalize his endure wishes. He requested to have 8 Philadelphia Eagles as pall bearers so the Eagles can let him down unity worst time.
